Hello St Barnabas Community Gardeners,
It’s a bit of late start for the committee, and we congratulate Jennifer and Matt, as they welcome young Blake to the world. The Committee has been drafting up a calendar for the upcoming year, and reviewing our notes for the small changes that have been suggested at the wrap up meeting. For the calendar, our first organizing meeting of the year will be March 16th, 2019 , at 1:00pm in the Church undercroft. The first meeting is mostly to collect the forms and payments for the year, and a good chance to meet your fellow gardeners and discuss plans for the upcoming season.
On that note, please find attached three documents. These are the forms for 2019
- The Garden Rules
- The registration form, which confirms your information, fees and acknowledgment of the rules
- The waiver form
Please review the rules, which other than the dates, are unchanged from last year. If you did not do so at the 2018 wrap up, please print the registration and waiver forms, and bring them to the meeting on the 16th. Seedy Saturday is also scheduled for that day over at the Community Association.
The calendar of events for next year is drafted, and we will likely have the first big work day on April 27th, which is a bit later than last year to accommodate Easter Weekend. Should the weather not cooperate, the work day would be deferred to May 4th.
Work days will be spread out similar to last year, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The tentative schedule can be found on the Garden website – https://stbarnabasgarden.org/
